Design Intern Amsterdam

4-5 days a week

5-6 months

Start September 2026

At Whoohaa, we're brand tuners. We make brands sing by sharpening their positioning, building brand worlds and creating ideas that give both clients and their audiences that Whoohaa energy. We call it Brand Harmony®, making sure every touchpoint is on-brand without sounding like a broken record.

We're looking for a design intern, mbo or hbo level, ready to play a real part in our studio.

What we do

We're a brand experience agency. That means we think about strategy and about every single moment a brand is seen or felt. A billboard on the highway. The floor of a store. An app interface. The copy on a package. Even the notification on your mobile. All of it matters.

What you'll actually do

You're not here to make coffee. You'll work on visual identities, design systems and the assets that bring a brand to life across every touchpoint. One day you're working on logo applications, the next you're designing a print campaign or a digital interface.

You're Whoohaa if you

Think visually but can back it up with a solid idea. Have an opinion about why something looks good or feels off. Get excited by brands that actually stand for something. Are studying graphic design, communication design or a related creative field, at mbo or hbo level. Know your way around Figma and Adobe CC, not just the basics. Have the confidence to stand for your ideas but know when to ask for input. You're really Whoohaa if you believe Yoda is one of the greatest philosophers from another galaxy. You speak Dutch or English.

What we offer

A spot inside a tight creative team where brand strategy and design live right next to each other. Real clients, real briefs, real feedback, directly from our head of design. And a monthly internship allowance of €450.

We're a plug-in agency. Lean, direct, no unnecessary layers. You plug in, you contribute, you grow.

How to apply

Skip the AI-generated cover letter. Show us who you are in one of these ways: A human-written letter. A video. A drawing. Or anything else you made yourself.

Add your portfolio and tell us which vinyl album you'd add to our record wall and why.
